Full Biography Betty Hasler is a Partner with Hodge / Niederer / Cariani / Lindsay (HNCL Partners), and her practice focuses on the education, nonprofit, and government sectors. Prior to joining the firm, Betty was a Partner in the San Francisco office of Heidrick & Struggles from 1990 to 2003. Previously, she was a Senior Manager in the Executive Search Practice of KPMG Peat Marwick's San Francisco office. Some of her education clients have included Stanford University, The University of California, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the University of Michigan. Some of her nonprofit and government sector clients have included The Nature Conservancy, the California Academy of Sciences, CalPERS, and the County of Orange, California. Earlier in her career, Betty was the proprietor of her own consulting firm, which specialized in services to nonprofit institutions. Her consulting engagements included strategic organizational planning, resource development and fund raising, financial management, and human resources management. Betty's additional experience included the regional directorship of an international nonprofit organization in which she was responsible for the overall management of seven branch offices of the organization. In this position, Betty was the assistant director for a social service organization and was involved in resource development and contracts management. Betty has been active in professional associations, including the California Executive Recruiters Association (she is the former President of this organization), and the Association of Executive Search Consultants. She is also a member of the board of The Marine Mammal Center and of the Broad Center for Superintendents. Ms. Hasler holds an M.S. from Texas Tech University and a B.A. from Baylor University. |
