Full Biography Evan Lindsay is the Managing Partner of the Eastern Region for Hodge / Niederer / Cariani / Lindsay (HNCL Partners) and is based in the Atlanta office. In addition to his senior executive search expertise, he also serves as a senior member of HNCL Search's board practice. As one of the firm's senior Partners, he focuses on recruiting CEOs and other general management talent as well as outside directors to boards of financial services companies. A seasoned search consultant, Evan possesses nearly 30 years of executive search experience. He has specialized in insurance and financial services for the past 20 years. Prior to joining Hodge / Niederer / Cariani / Lindsay (HNCL Partners), Evan was Vice Chairman of Heidrick & Struggles where he built and led the insurance practice and was personally responsible for cultivating some of the firm's most significant relationships. Before joining Heidrick & Struggles in 1993, he was a Partner with Spencer Stuart and headed that firm's U.S. insurance practice for seven years. Previously he founded and operated his own firm which offered search, compensation studies, and organizational planning consulting services. Evan first entered the search profession in 1978 when KPMG Peat Marwick recruited him to start its Search and Human Resource Consulting Practice in the Southeast. He became a Partner with this major public accounting firm in 1982. Before entering search, Evan was Director of Personnel for the Atlantic International Division of American Hospital Supply Corporation. Other corporate experience includes Southeast Regional Personnel Director for Pfizer, Inc., and Data Processing Consultant with Touche Ross. Evan received a B.A. in economics from Centenary College, Shreveport, Louisiana, and an M.B.A. with a concentration in operations research from Tulane University. While pursuing doctoral studies, Evan served as Assistant Dean of Tulane's business school. Highly regarded as a preeminent observer and influencer of the insurance and financial services industries, Evan is frequently quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Best's Review and Financial Times. |
